Trans-Caspian International Transport Corridor
The North-South transport corridor is designed to connect Northern Europe with Southeast Asia, including railways of Azerbaijan and Russia. In the first phase, it is planned to transport about six million tons of cargo during the year along the North-South corridor, and then 15-20 million tons of cargo. The cargo will pass through the territory of India in just 14 days and go to Scandinavia and Northern Europe via Azerbaijan, Russia.

The North-South transport corridor is designed to connect Northern Europe with Southeast Asia, including railways of Azerbaijan and Russia. In the first stage, it is planned to transport about six million tons of cargo during the year along the North-South corridor, and then 15-20 million tons of cargo. The cargo will pass through the territory of India in just 14 days and will be directed to Scandinavia and Northern Europe via the Persian Gulf, Azerbaijan, Russia.
Baku - Tbilisi - Kars
The Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway is a transport corridor connecting the railway networks of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey. Initially, the completion of the project was planned for 2010, but this date has been postponed several times. After the fifth meeting of the three participating countries represented by foreign ministers in February 2016, 2017 was set as the final year of work. The total length of BTQ is 826 kilometers. It has a capacity of approximately 1 million passengers and 6.5 million tons of cargo. In the future, transportation can be increased to 3 million passengers and 20 million tons of cargo.
